CAROLINE BONNIVIER SNYDER — BENNINGTON BANNER
Seventh and eighth graders students with the Mount Anthony Union Middle School Leadership Team work on creating posters for their anti-vaping campaign. The posters are being made in preparation for the parent/guardian night forum ‘What You Need To Know About Vaping’ which is being held at the school on January 21st from 6-7pm, and is open to the public. The evening is co-hosted by Mount Anthony Union Middle School and the Alliance for Community Transformations (ACT), Bennington's substance use prevention coalition, with guest speakers from the MAUMS Youth Leadership Team & the Collaborative, the Northshire's substance abuse prevention organization. Posters, once complete, will also be distributed in various places throughout the building. The group of students meet weekly to promote healthy behaviors among their peers.
